This is what I’ve been doing in my precious spare time this past week.  Making props and costumes for tonight’s “Trick or Treat Street” at our elementary school.  TorTSt transforms the hallways/doorways of the school into a street and at the doorways that people have decorated and dressed up in a particular theme, hand out treats to kids from 0 to 12 years old.  This is our first time volunteering and decorating a “door”.  Should be fun!  The Park & Rec Dept then has a pizza party for the volunteers so it’s a win-win for the kids.  

Next it’s preparing for “Frankenstorm” which will probably wreck the kids’ Halloween night again (last year we got 15 inches of snow and were out of power for a week).
